Speaking of Michael Kors

Oh I am love love loving this season of Bravo's Project Runway, which seems to get better with each passing week. Although I remain slightly bitter about the tragically premature departure of Alison Kelly, this week's episode (almost) made up for it. Seriously, flying Angela "Macaroni Gluer" Keslar to Paris only to put her and her fugly outfit back on a plane an hour later was a stroke of genius. And Jeffrey finally won a challenge:

Enough Already

There are some trends that have become so overdone that they are reaching the point of ridiculousness.

Cork Platform Wedges:
This unfortunate pair achieves a level of heinous only possible by Jessica Simpson, Queen Maurauder of trend-whoredom.

Victorian Style Tops:
It pains me to still see these at Urban Outfitters because, let's be honest, weren't they already played out like, last summer? In the words of Michael Kors: "I'm just bored."

And lastly, can we please, please make an effort to do this season's goth thing without the horrendously cliche skulls? I knew this trend was dead (pun intended!) when I witnessed a member of the tween crowd bouncing around the mall donning a short sleeve hoodie adorned with not one skull, not two skulls, but a whole patterned mess of 'em. Yikes.
Scary, ain't it?

Karl Lagerfeld Is Never Happy Anyway

The Sundance Channel is airing a documentary on the reigning King of Chanel on September 7 at 8:00 (EST). I, for one, have my tape ready- methinks this might be something worth watching more than once.
